Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación pretende potencializar y revalorizar las características culturales y agrícolas que posee la parroquia Santa Catalina de Salinas mediante una propuesta de desarrollo sostenible con criterios del nuevo urbanismo que congreguen entre sí para el desarrollo; turístico, económico y sociocultural del sector, que ayuden además a controvertir los problemas sociales y de dotación de infraestructura que conlleva la expansión urbana hacia las zonas agrícolas objetando así con el desarrollo equitativo y propicio de las características funcionales presentes en la parroquia. Los enfoques del nuevo urbanismo por el cual se desarrolla el proyecto son; compacidad y complejidad urbana, movilidad y sostenibilidad ambiental, que buscan implementar una configuración urbana basada en la cohesión social y el sentido de pertenencia comunitaria por parte de los usuarios a través de la mixticidad de usos y actividades, la accesibilidad y movilidad pensada en el peatón y la integración de los elementos naturales como agrícolas al desarrollo de la parroquia. Mediante la intervención se pretende que los principales beneficiados sean la población del sector a través de un diseño urbano y arquitectónico pensado en el desarrollo con énfasis sostenible de la parroquia a través de la integración de las zonas urbanas y agrícolas instauradas dentro del sector mediante espacios que promuevan el desarrollo y sentido comunitario de los habitantes promoviendo los valores sociales, culturales, agrícolas y económicos del sector a través del equipamiento agroturístico cultural Salinas.
The present titling work aims to potentiate and revalue the cultural and agricultural characteristics of the Santa Catalina de Salinas parish through a proposal for sustainable development with criteria of the new urbanism that bring together each other for development; tourism, economic and sociocultural sector, which also help to controvert the social problems and infrastructure provision that urban expansion entails towards agricultural areas, thus objecting to the equitable and favorable development of the functional characteristics present in the parish. The approaches of the new urbanism by which the project is developed are; urban compactness and complexity, mobility and environmental sustainability, which seek to implement an urban configuration based on social cohesion and the sense of community belonging by users through the mix of uses and activities, accessibility and mobility thought of the pedestrian and the integration of natural and agricultural elements to the development of the parish. Through the intervention, it is intended that the main beneficiaries are the population of the sector through an urban and architectural design designed for the development with a sustainable emphasis on the parish through the integration of urban and agricultural areas established within the sector through spaces that promote the development and community sense of the inhabitants by promoting the social, cultural, agricultural and economic values of the sector through the Salinas” cultural agrotourism facility.
