Item Open Access Análisis del uso de estrategias educomunicacionales durante el periodo académico 2017 – 2018, en las unidades educativas católicas del cantón Ibarra, provincia de Imbabura(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra, 2018-02) Agila Cobos, María ElenaThe present research work presents as a main objective the use of educational strategies in the Catholic Educational Units, during the period 2016 - 2017, through a descriptive investigation for the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in the elementary school articles, the diagnosis about which will constitute an educational, communicative and pedagogical proposal, which will provide the answer to the needs detected through the realization of the field work. Education, nowadays, does not only refer to the classroom context, but it has acquired a re-dimensioning granted by the emergence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as forms of cultural exchange and education, an aspect that evidence through the penetration of audiovisual technologies as tools for pedagogical use by teachers, to give a significant dimension to education and a greater degree of contextualization. In this way, considering the various theoretical instruments and the application of data collection instruments, students and students of intelligence institutions, a diagnosis of the situation of the academic environment is generated and the advantages of the implementation of strategies are identified as educational and communicate, in those institutions of the region, which allows the development of the supported academic proposal. This project represents a content at the level of Education and Social Communication, as part of the cohesion of both areas of studies, unified with a single objective: teaching-learning. It is expected that the results can be extrapolated beyond the geographical environment of Ibarra, encompassing any environment of the Basic General Education system of Ecuador.
