| dc.description | This research work focuses on analyzing aspects related to the Intangible Heritage of the Kayambi People, through the design of a Cultural Interpretation Center in the "La Bola" neighborhood, of the San Luis de Guachalá Community, Cayambe Canton - Province of Pichincha. The intangible heritage of a community is a key factor that can be exploited in tourism and in this work an investigation was applied from a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative aspects to achieve a better understanding. Deductive and synthetic methods were used to collect and analyze information and survey, interview and observation techniques were used to obtain qualitative and quantitative data that allowed the proposal to be developed. The finite population was 1,800 tourists who visited the Middle of the World Ball in the Community of Guachalá, in the "La Bola" neighborhood between 2020 and 2021, and a sample of 91 people was obtained. The main results of the investigation indicated that the community agrees to show their intangible heritage to improve their economic income through heritage tourism. According to the description of the tourist profile and the people who adhere to the cultural celebration of the Intangible Heritage of Señorío Kayambi, it is concluded that tourism must be managed in a responsible and sustainable manner to minimize negative impacts, such as congestion, pollution and degradation. of the cultural and natural heritage. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación se enfoca en analizar los aspectos relacionados con el Patrimonio Inmaterial del Pueblo Kayambi, mediante el diseño de un Centro de Interpretación Cultural en el Barrio "La Bola", de la Comunidad San Luis de Guachalá, Cantón Cayambe – Provincia de Pichincha. El patrimonio inmaterial de una comunidad es un factor clave que puede ser explotado en el turismo y en este trabajo se aplicó una investigación desde un enfoque mixto, combinando aspectos cuantitativos y cualitativos para lograr una mejor comprensión. Se utilizaron métodos deductivos y sintéticos para recopilar y analizar información y se utilizaron técnicas de encuesta, entrevista y observación para obtener datos cualitativos y cuantitativos que permitieron desarrollar la propuesta. La población finita fue de 1.800 turistas que visitaron la Bola de la Mitad del Mundo en la Comunidad de Guachalá, del Barrio "La Bola" entre el año 2020 y 2021, y se obtuvo una muestra de 91 personas. Los principales resultados de la investigación indicaron que la comunidad está de acuerdo en mostrar su patrimonio inmaterial para mejorar sus ingresos económicos a través del turismo patrimonial. Según la descripción del perfil turístico y las personas que se adhieren al festejo cultural del Patrimonio Inmaterial del Señorío Kayambi, se concluye que el turismo debe ser gestionado de manera responsable y sostenible para minimizar los impactos negativos, como la congestión, la contaminación y la degradación del patrimonio cultural y natural. | |
