Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar una propuesta urbano-arquitectó nica de un Terminal de buses interprovincial para la ciudad de Ibarra. Esta propuesta busca contribuir a la movilidad y al desarrollo urbano de la ciu dad. Para lograrlo, se lleva a cabo una investigación utilizando una metodología que implica el uso de diferentes técnicas y herramientas para comprender la situación actual del Terminal. Estas técnicas incluyen la reali zación de encuestas, entrevistas, visitas de campo y levantamiento fotográ fico. En los capítulos uno, dos, tres, cuatro y cinco del proyecto, se abordan temas relacionados con teorías, conceptualización, diagnóstico y propuesta arquitectónica. Se realizan análisis sobre el transporte terrestre y la movilidad urbana, donde se detallan aspectos como la justificación, importancia, alcance, necesidades espaciales y funciona les. Durante el desarrollo de este proyecto, se establecen múltiples objetivos con el fin de garantizar que la propuesta final cumpla con todas las expec tativas inmediatas y futuras de este equipamiento de manera satisfactoria. El objetivo es ofrecer una solución urbana y arquitectónica que contribuya a mejorar los desplazamientos de personas y mercancías en el cantón.
The objective of this work is to develop an urban-architectural proposal for an interprovincial bus terminal for the city of Ibarra. This proposal seeks to contribute to the mobility and urban development of the city. To achieve this, an investigation is carried out using a methodology that involves the use of different techniques and tools to understand the current situation of the terminal. These techniques include conducting surveys, interviews, field visits and photographic surveys. In chapters one, two, three, four and five of the project, topics related to theories, conceptualization, diagnosis and architectural proposal are addressed. Analysis is carried out on land transportation and urban mobility, detailing aspects such as justification, importance, scope, spatial and functional needs. During the development of this project, multiple objectives are established in order to guarantee that the final proposal meets all the immediate and future expectations of this equipment in a satisfactory manner. The objective is to offer an urban and architectural solution that contributes to improving the movement of people and goods in the canton.
