Abstract

As an integral part of this effort, a Self-Building Guide with Compressed Earth Blocks (CBT) was developed, aimed at improving construction practices and promoting responsible self-construction. The guide includes details, recommendations and illustrations that optimize construction processes, correct and mitigate common errors in the use of ground-based systems, and empower the community by providing practical knowledge. This work not only seeks to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, but also to preserve traditional techniques and materials, integrating them with modern standards of habitability. The research and proposed solutions promise to contribute to the sustainability and security of rural housing in the community studied, promoting the creation of safer and more durable homes, and raising the quality of life of its inhabitants.
