Abstract
El paisaje urbano se configura a partir de distintas secuencias de elementos construidos así como de espacios públicos, semi-públicos y priva dos que contribuyen al sentido de orientación, lectura y pertenencia. Frente a un centro histórico totalmente consolidado, carente de zonas que mejoren el confort urbano y aporten un valor paisajístico ornamental, surge la premisa de re-concebir el tejido urbano a través de la reconfigura ción interna de la trama existente para la recuperación del suelo en el corazón de la urbe. En este sentido, el objetivo del trabajo que se presen ta, es estudiar el potencial de transformación de los centros de manzana en espacios de encuentro y relación para los ciudadanos, con miras a generar una propuesta de intervención arquitectónica de estos vacíos urbanos. El resultado, se orienta a convertirlos en lugares de encuentro con diversidad de actividades, motivando a los usuarios a empoderarse de ellos como parte de sus valores colectivos, que se suman a la inte racción e interés por nuevos lugares comunes al interior de la manzana.
The urban landscape is configured from different sequences of built elements as well as public, semi-public and private spaces that contribute to the sense of orientation, reading and belonging. Faced with a fully consolidated historical center, lacking areas that improve urban comfort and provide an ornamental landscape value, the premise arises of re-conceiving the urban fabric through the internal reconfiguration of the exis ting plot, for the recovery of soil in The heart of the city. In this sense, the objective of the work presented is to study the potential of transforming apple centers into meeting and relationship spaces for citizens, with a view to generating a proposal for architectural intervention of these urban gaps. The result is oriented to turn them into meeting places with a diversity of activities, motivating users to empower them as part of their collective values, which add to the interaction and interest in new common places within the block.
