Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación “diseño de un taller de artes y oficios fundamentado en la cultura ancestral afroecuatoriana para la parroquia de Santa Catalina de Salinas” busca proponer el rescate, fortalecimiento y difusión de la historia y la cultura afro a través del aprendizaje practico por medio de la implementación de un equipamiento de artes y oficios. A través de esta propuesta se desarrollarán actividades de aprendizaje, exhibición y venta de productos realizados por los artesanos locales en un solo equipamiento, de esta manera se busca generar encuentro sociocultural con un centro focal de desarrollo y pertenencia cultural. Se estudian teorías referentes al arte, cultura, artes y oficios, teorías arquitectónicas, así como marco normativo\; lo cual permite generar bases fundamentales para tener conceptos en cuanto a una arquitectura basada en la cultura. El proceso de investigación tomo en consideración enfoques y análisis de tipo cualitativo mediante técnicas e instrumentos como entrevistas, revisión documental, observación directa mismas que permitieron realizar un acercamiento previo al ámbito cultural y artístico del sector\; de manera cuantitativa se realizó encuestas que permitieron obtener datos estadísticos que sustenta el planteamiento del proyecto. El desarrollo de la propuesta arquitectónica se basa en plantear talleres de las actividades artísticas destacas de la cultura, zonas de difusión a través de espacios abiertos y complementarios\; tomando en cuenta las características bioclimáticas del sector.
The present degree work 'design of an arts and crafts workshop based on the ancestral Afro-Ecuadorian culture for the parish of Santa Catalina de Salinas' seeks to propose the rescue, strengthening and dissemination of Afro history and culture through practical learning by means of implementing an arts and crafts equipment. Through this proposal, learning activities, exhibition and sale of products made by local artisans in a single equipment will be developed, in this way it seeks to generate a socio-cultural encounter with a focal center of development and cultural belonging. Theories related to art, culture, arts and crafts, architectural theories, as well as a normative framework are studied\; which allows to generate fundamental bases to have concepts regarding an architecture based on culture. The research process took into consideration qualitative approaches and analysis through techniques and instruments such as interviews, documentary review, direct observation, which allowed us to make a preliminary approach to the cultural and artistic field of the sector\; In a quantitative way, surveys were carried out that allowed obtaining statistical data that supports the project approach. The development of the architectural proposal is based on presenting workshops of the outstanding artistic activities of culture, areas of diffusion through open and complementary spaces\; taking into account the bioclimatic characteristics of the sector.
