Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación se desarrolla en la comunidad La Rinconada, que se encuentra ubicada a 13,8 km. del centro de la ciudad de Ibarra, esta comunidad pertenece a la parroquia rural de Angochagua la cual es caracterizada por sus costum bres, tradiciones y atractivos naturales, además, se aprovecha la influencia de Geoparque Imbabura para generar un proyecto de ecoturismo, tomando principalmente la actividad del senderismo. De este modo, se propone senderos interpretativos tomando como base la Guía para diseño y operación de Senderos In terpretativos, en las que se relaciona las diferentes escalas de la propuesta. La metodología empleada para el diseño de los senderos tiene como punto de partida un análisis cualitativo que integra al espacio con sus habitantes mediante una actividad denominada Focus Group, en donde se bosqueja un plano con los hitos que identifican a la comunidad La Rinconada. Dicho esquema es el punto de partida para que se genere una propuesta macro que consiste en la representación esquemática de cuatro senderos que parten de dos nodos existentes hacia cuatro atractivos turísticos naturales, para de esta manera continuar con el desarrollo de un sendero y generar un equipamiento turístico dentro del mismo. Finalmente, tras una investigación documental y de campo y una encuesta a nivel parroquial y comunal, se identifica un déficit de equipamiento de hospedaje y alimentación para lo que se propone el diseño de un proyecto turístico que permita la perma nencia, la integración y disfrute de los habitantes y turistas y sea un nodo de partida hacia el sendero Condor Yaku. La propuesta consiste en el diseño esquemático del restaurante, galería, talleres y administración, además se complementa con el diseño arquitectónico de cuatro tipos de cabañas de hospedaje: cabaña de tierra, cabaña de agua, cabaña de fuego y la cabaña de aire, que responden a un estudio de arquetipos del lugar, por consecuente, se integran a la morfología del lugar y la materialidad del entorno.
The present degree work is developed in The Rinconada community, which is located 13,8 km. away from the center of the city of Ibarra. Likewise, the community belongs to the rural parish of Angochagua, which is characterized by its customs, traditions, and natural attractions. In the same vein, the influence of the Imbabura geopark is employed to generate an ecotourism project with an emphasis on hiking activities. In this way, interpretative trails are proposed based on the 'Guide for the design and operation of Interpretive Trails,' in which the different scales of the proposal are related. Furthermore, the starting point of the methodology used for the trails’ design is a qualitative analysis that integrates the space with its inhabitants through an activity called Focus Group. A floor plan is sketched based on the milestones identifying The Rinconada community. Additionally, the mentioned outline is the starting point for gene rating a macro proposal that comprises a schematic representation of four trails, starting from two existing nodes towards four natural tourist attractions, to continue developing a trail and generating a touristic facility within. Finally, after a theoretical and field investigation and a survey at the parish and community level, a deficit of lodging and food equipment was conclusively identified. Hence, it is proposed to design a tourism project that allows the inhabitants and tourists’ permanence, integration, and enjoyment. Along these lines, it will certainly factor as the starting nod towards the Condor Yaku trail. The proposal consists of the schematic design of a restaurant, gallery, workshops, and administration\; it is also comple mented by the architectural design of four types of lodging cabins: earth cabin, water cabin, fire cabin, and the air cabin, which respond to a study of the archetypes of the place, consequently, they are integrated into the morphology of the place and the materiality of the environment.
