Ecoturismo: diseño paisajístico y arquitectónico de las riberas del río Apuela y de un equipamiento de administración turística en la cabecera parroquial de Apuela

Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación está desarrollado en la cabecera parroquial de Apuela del cantón Cotacachi, provincia de Imbabura-Ecuador, considerada como el umbral de ingreso a la zona de Intag, una comunidad donde albergan varias parroquias rurales y se distingue por su gran riqueza natural. La investigación del proyecto está basada en la actividad eco-turística y los enfoques que influyen directamente al desarrollo y aplicación de esta actividad en zonas rurales, como; aspecto territorial, ambiental, social, cultural y económico; de acuerdo a una normativa y especificaciones técnicas para la aplicación e intervención adecuada del eco-turismo en áreas de gran impacto ecológico. Dentro de una metodología de investigación mixta, es decir, cualitativa y cuantitativa, nos permitió recopilar información esencial sobre el estado actual del turismo y como lo desempeñan en toda la zona de Intag, sus actividades y servicios dentro de un contexto natural, de igual manera establecer y ubicar los elementos culturales, naturales y turísticos más representativos de la cabecera parroquial de Apuela, llegando a una síntesis de sus potencialidades y problemáticas, la cual permitirá solventar y proponer estrategias de intervención de acuerdo a su contexto. Se propone como solución, una estrategia de intervención paisajística arquitectónica para el desarrollo eco-turístico dentro de la cabecera parroquial de Apuela, por lo tanto, dentro de la planificación urbana se intervendrá el tema vial, promoviendo el uso exclusivo de espacios peatonales seguros y libres de barreras arquitectónicas por medio de una red vial, donde se conecte los puntos más influyentes, promoviendo el uso de los espacios públicos mediante la interacción con su naturaleza y rescatando su identidad propia por medio de la intervención en las riberas del río Apuela y la implementación de un equipamiento de administración e información turística para el control y gestión de las actividades desarrolladas en la zona de Intag.
This current wor was developed in Apuela- Cotacachi Canton, in Imbabura province. It is considered as the main gate of entrance to Intag zone, a place were many rural parishes are located, which are caracterized for its natural richness. Te project research is based on the Eco-touristic activity and the focus which directly influences to the development and the application of the activity in the rural zones, such as: territorial, cultural, environmental, economical and social aspects according to the regulations and tecnich especifications for an adecuate implementation and apliccation of Eco-tourism in areas fo graeater echological impact. Using a mixed rsearch methodology, cualitative and cuantitative, we were allowed to get escential information about the actual state of tourism and how it is performed in Intag zone, its activities and services in a natural context. Also establish an locate the cultural, natural and touristic more representative facts in Apuela parish, leading us to a sinthesis of problems and potentials, which let us propose strategies of intervention according to their context. It is proposed as solution an architectonical intervention estrategy to develop eco tourism in Apuela parish, so that, in the urban planning the topic of the roads will be discused promoting the usage of exclusive and pedestrian spaces free of architectonical barriers with a road system which can connect all the more representative spaces, promoting de usage of public spaces and interaction with the nature, also rescuing the identity throuhg the Apuela river basin and implementing administrative and tourist information places to control and manage the activities developed in Intag zone.
