Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación propone la identificación y rehabilitación de edificaciones con valor patrimonial para la implementación de un Centro Turístico Comunitario que permita la exposición cultural del lugar, fortalezca los emprendimientos de sus habitantes y facilite el hospedaje de turistas que visitan la parroquia rural Cahuasquí, cantón Urcuquí. El Centro Turístico Comunitario formalmente respetará los elementos constructivos predominantes de la parroquia, de manera que no afecte su morfología urbana, por otro lado, funcionalmente mitigará las necesidades identificadas en el lugar, mediante la creación de espacios que permitan alojamiento, alimentación, recreación y exposición para cubrir las demandas de los usuarios que viven y visitan Cahuasquí.
This research project proposes the identification and rehabilitation of buildings with heritage value for the implementation of a Community Tourism Center that allows the cultural exhibition of the place, strengthen the endeavors of its inhabitants and facilitate the accommodation of tourists visiting the rural parish Cahuasquí, Urcuquí canton. The Community Tourism Center will formally respect the predominant constructive elements of the parish, so that it does not affect its urban morphology, on the other hand, it will functionally mitigate the needs identified in the place, by creating spaces that allow accommodation, food, recreation and exhibition to meet the demands of users who live and visit Cahuasquí.
