Abstract
The present investigation was an applied and experimental research, where doses of Lactobacillus buchneri microorganisms were utilized in the agro-industrial sub-product: lemon peel was used under a bioprocess to obtain silages. The bromatological analysis determined if the silos with different doses of the Lactobacillus buchneri microorganism that the best treatment obtained was T4 (20 kg of lemon peel) showed the most outstanding values in the dry matter (11,98%); the T1 (20 kg of lemon peel + 40 ml of microorganisms) in raw protein (9,11%); T3 (20 kg of lemon peel + 20 ml of microorganisms) in 90,60% humidity (%); the T3 (20 kg of lemon peel + 20 ml of microorganisms) in percentage of neutral detergent fiber (28%); the T3 (20 kg of lemon peel + 20 ml of microorganisms) in percentage of acid detergent fiber (22%) and the T3 (20 kg of lemon peel + 20 ml of microorganisms) in Mcal / Kg of raw energy (2,83 Mcal / Kg). Considering all the indicators of the bromatological examination and relating their nutritional properties in the feeding of calves, it is important to mention the efficiency of substrate also, the inoculant was verified in the reduction of fermentation time, stabilization of pH variables, it increases the percentage of lactic acid, growth of lactic acid bacteria and determination of microbiological quality and palatability.
