Abstract
La idea del desarrollo de una aplicación que ayude en el proceso de control y
crianza de ganado lechero nace de la necesidad de pequeños y medianos
ganaderos que mantienen procesos de crianza empíricos, alejados de las
innovaciones tecnológicas actuales que puedan ayudar a mejorar la
producción de leche.
Según las observaciones sobre los procesos que los ganaderos realizan
diariamente y de la literatura acerca de los cuidados de animales, en especial
el bovino como también de los cuidados necesarios para garantizar la calidad
de la leche se ha encontrado la necesidad de implementar algunas técnicas
de control que se pueden aplicar a través de tecnología, en este caso,
mediante el uso de una aplicación web móvil que permitirá llevar un registro
de las actividades realizadas en la explotación ganadera en aspectos como
alimentación, producción lechera, salud animal, salud reproductiva, datos
financieros de la finca, entre otros. Estos datos proveerán una radiografía del
estado de los animales y de la finca en general con el fin de tomar decisiones
más informadas y por ende más certeras a la hora de mejorar los procesos de
crianza y producción lechera.
Apoyados en la metodología de desarrollo ágil XP y en los conocimientos
provistos por los expertos en el área se ha establecido los requerimientos para
el desarrollo de una aplicación que busca contribuir en productores pequeños
y medianos.
The idea of developing an application that helps in the control and breeding process of dairy cattle arises from the need for small and medium-sized farmers who maintain empirical breeding processes, away from current technological innovations that can help improve milk production. Through research on the processes that farmers carry out daily and the literature on animal care, especially the reel, as well as the care necessary to guarantee the quality of the milk, it has been found the need to implement some control techniques that They can be applied through technology, in this case, through the use of a mobile web application that will allow a record of the activities carried out in the livestock farm in aspects such as food, milk production, animal health, reproductive health, financial data of the farm, among others. These data will provide an X-ray of the state of the animals and the farm in general in order to make more informed and therefore more accurate decisions when it comes to improving the breeding and dairy production processes. Supported by the agile XP development methodology and the knowledge provided by experts in the area, the requirements have been established for the development of an application that seeks to contribute to small and medium producers.
