Abstract
ste trabajo de titulación analiza la proyección de un terminal multimodal en la ciudad de EL Ángel. Punto céntrico con la mayor extensión de área urbana y de densidad de población del Cantón Espejo, además posee una importante afluencia de personas provenientes de parroquias rurales con líneas de trasporte operativas a nivel urbano, cantonal y provincial. Se investiga las deficiencias del transporte público, en términos de tiempos de espera y eficiencia en la movilización de personas y productos. Posteriormente se analiza los problemas de la poca planificación en la ubicación de paradas de taxis, buses interprovinciales y camionetas esparcidas en toda la ciudad y que producen apropiación del espacio público.
This degree work analyzes the projection of a multimodal terminal in the city of El Ángel. Central point with the largest extension of urban area and population density of the Espejo Canton, also has a significant influx of people from rural parishes with operational transportation lines at urban, cantonal and provincial levels. The deficiencies of public transport are investigated, in terms of waiting times and efficiency in the mobilization of people and products. Subsequently, the problems of little planning in the location of taxi ranks, interprovincial buses and vans scattered throughout the city and that produce appropriation of public space are analyzed.
