Abstract
El presente proyecto pretende aportar a la recuperación del patrimonio intangible que posee la ciudad de Ibarra, enfocado hacia la juventud que habita en ella. Esto se llevará a cabo mediante el análisis de la situación actual y la comprensión de la problemática enfocada en el mejoramiento de la imagen urbana y de la identidad que caracteriza a la ciudad, Para esto se plantean estrategias que se unifican en un equipamiento social que se ocupe de las necesidades tanto culturales y sociales que requiere el desarrollo y recurrir de la vida de las nuevas generaciones. El proyecto se centrará en la recuperación de las costumbres y tradiciones de las poblaciones indígenas que llegaron a habitar durante el proceso histórico de la ciudad desde la época colonial hasta la época del retorno a la ciudad. Así se pretende comprender la situación actual del interés social y de cómo el paso del tiempo ha logrado el deterioro y pérdida de la identidad de los pueblos indígenas y mestizas que habitan tanto en las parroquias urbanas como rurales. Se realiza la revisión de los antecedentes de la ciudad de Ibarra de manera macro y micro, cubriendo las ciudades con alto valor patrimonial y ancestral que por diversos factores como: la falta de interés, la globalización y la aculturación que sufren en los últimos 10 años, que no presentan rasgos culturales definidos, y se ven afectadas constantemente por las tendencias y culturas populares con más influencia en las actividades comerciales y por el turismo que ingresa y genera aportes al patrimonio intangible, afectándolo de cierta manera. El desarrollo de esta investigación se enfoca en generar un elemento estratégico que aporte a resolver la problemática, siendo la violación de los derechos de la niñez y adolescencia, la identidad cultural y pobreza que sufre la ciudadanía lo que defina los puntos importantes para mejorar el desarrollo de los habitantes de la ciudad dentro de un rango de edad de 13 a 24 años. Formalizando un hito y la consolidación de la tipología social de Yacucalle. Se pretende generar un equipamiento que desarrolle el espacio urbano vinculando al espacio público abierto a un espacio público centrado a las actividades recreacionales cubiertos con áreas de socialización y de trabajo de artesanías donde se pueda fomentar una identidad cultural y artística que aporte a la interacción social. Así, promoviendo la restauración y la práctica de las actividades ancestrales perdidas y la práctica de una cultura propia para la ciudad y no depender de influencias externas para mantener la identidad y fomentar el amor que se tiene por la ciudad de Ibarra.
