Abstract
El embarazo adolescente es un fenómeno de preocupación a nivel global, ya que afecta a comunidades, familias y, en última instancia, la vida de las propias adolescentes. Este fenómeno se acentúa en todas las regiones, en los últimos años se ha realizado muchos estudios sobre el embarazo en adolescentes y los cambios que esta problemática genera no solo a nivel familiar, sino a nivel social, ya que incide en el incremento de la pobreza de un país. El cual su importancia radica en: crear una base de datos epidemiológicos necesarios para que el equipo docente y administrativo establezcan iniciativas que aborden las necesidades de salud sexual y reproductiva de las adolescentes de este centro educativo de la ciudad de Ibarra. El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar los factores de riesgo que influyen en los embarazos adolescentes en la Unidad Educativa Ibarra durante periodo enero 2023 – enero 2024. Para lograrlo, se aplicó un estudio descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo en el que se empleó una encuesta elaborada propiamente y validada por expertos, que previo a la firma del consentimiento informado validado por las autoridades del plantel y asesores metodológicos de la universidad, se pudo aplicar a 75 adolescentes que han experimentado algún embarazo. Los resultados obtenidos a través del análisis estadístico de la situación de madres adolescentes en la Unidad Educativa “Ibarra” se logró identificar de manera precisa los factores de riesgo vinculados en los embarazos adolescentes. Como recomendación para eliminar este alto índice de casos se debería restructurar los planes académicos de estudio en la institución sobre materias de importante contenido de sexualidad, métodos anticonceptivos y planificación infantil, entre otros temas de apoyo familiar, afecto, relaciones de pareja, etc.

To achieve this, a descriptive study was applied, with a quantitative approach in which an elaborate survey was used. properly and validated by experts, which prior to the signing of the informed consent validated by the campus authorities and methodological advisors of the university, could be applied to 75 adolescents who have experienced pregnancy. The results obtained through the statistical analysis of the situation of teenage mothers in the Ibarra” Educational Unit were able to precisely identify the risk factors linked to teenage pregnancies. As a recommendation to eliminate this high rate of cases, the academic study plans at the institution should be restructured on subjects with important sexuality content, contraceptive methods and child planning, among other topics of family support, affection, couple relationships, etc.
