Abstract
La presente investigación “Caracterización de la vestimenta ancestral de la parroquia La Concepción” Cantón Mira, procura resaltar las características de la vestimenta, con la finalidad de fortalecer, preservar y registrar la indumentaria de estos pueblos ancestrales. Además, hace mención a diversos autores y temas con valoraciones asertivas relacionadas con la tradición, patrimonio tangible e intangible, cultura y vestimenta de las distintas localidades afroecuatorianas. En el primer capítulo, se aborda la problemática base de la presente investigación, enfatizando la sustitución del vestuario autóctono por nuevas propuestas de moda transmitidas a las generaciones jóvenes que desconocen cómo se vestían sus ancestros, siendo el registro de este legado uno de los factores que se le pueden atribuir al problema. Mientras que en el capítulo dos, se aborda una recopilación de información bibliográfica, obtenida principalmente del periódico parroquial del Gobierno Autónomo provincial del Carchi, Mira Balcón de los Andes página realizada por pobladores de Mira así como también, de entrevistas dirigidas a conocedores de la zona que con su conocimiento empírico y experiencias, son parte fundamental de dicha investigación que detalla la vestimenta de años pasados en especial, aquella que solían usar para distintas actividades diarias como en el campo y ocasiones festivas. Determinar la evolución que ha tenido la vestimenta afro descendiente de la parroquia “La Concepción” a través del tiempo, establece el escenario perfecto para registrar una línea cronológica que evidencie dicha evolución, por lo que en el capítulo tres, se realizó una investigación de campo donde se encuesta a los pobladores de los caseríos que forman parte de la parroquia en estudio. Una vez obtenida la información, se archiva mediante un registro fotográfico que muestra la evolución que ha tenido el vestuario de la parroquia “La Concepción” a través del tiempo y que detalla las características principales, con el propósito de evidenciar toda la información de esta identidad cultural que merece ser considerada como un principio fundamental para la juventud y toda la población en general. Para concluir y visibilizar la importancia de conservación de este legado, se generó una colección de vestuario casual contemporáneo, cuyos elementos conectores son las características originarias del vestuario afro descendiente de la parroquia La Concepción”.
The present investigation Characterization of the ancestral clothing of La Concepción parish which is located in the Cantón Mira, seeks to highlight the characteristics of the clothing, in order to strengthen, preserve and record the clothing of these ancestral peoples. In addition, it mentions various authors and topics with assertive assessments related to tradition, tangible and intangible heritage, culture and clothing of the different Afro-Ecuadorian localities. The first chapter addresses the problem, the basis of this research, emphasizing the replacement of indigenous clothing by new fashion proposals transmitted to young generations who do not know how their ancestors dressed, as they do not have a record that keeps this great legacy. While in chapter two, a compilation of bibliographic information is approached, obtained mainly from the parochial newspaper of the Provincial Autonomous Government of Carchi, Mira Balcón de los Andes, a page carried out by people of that locality, as well as from interviews directed to experts in the area that With their empirical knowledge and experiences, they are a fundamental part of this research that details the clothing of past years, especially the one they used to wear for different daily activities such as in the field and festive occasions. Determine the evolution of Afro-descendant clothing in La Concepción” parish through time, establishes the perfect scenario to record a chronological line that evidences their evolution so in chapter three, a field investigation was carried out where the inhabitants of the hamlets that are part of the parish under study were surveyed. Once the information is obtained, it is archived by means of a photographic record that shows the evolution of the wardrobe of La Concepción parish through time and detailing the main characteristics, in order to show all the information of this cultural identity that deserves to be considered as a fundamental principle for youth and the entire population in general. To conclude and make visible the importance of preserving this legacy, a collection of contemporary casual clothing was created, whose connecting elements are the original characteristics of the Afro-descendant clothing of the La Concepción parish”.
