Abstract
La presente investigación tiene lugar en la institución pública del Cuerpo de Bomberos del Cantón Otavalo (CBCO), encargada de brindar distintos servicios a la población urbana y rural del cantón Otavalo, provincia de Imbabura. La investigación consiste en el estudio y sistematización de procesos para la gestión de inspección y recaudación para la emisión de permisos de funcionamiento de locales comerciales, vehículos de transporte liviano, pesado y eventos ocasionales. Actualmente las gestiones de dichos procesos, son llevadas a cabo de forma manual, de allí la necesidad de implementar un sistema para la automatización de los procesos y ofrecer una mejor calidad de servicio a la ciudadanía otavaleña. El objetivo de la investigación es desarrollar un sistema web que permita gestionar y controlar dichos procesos, facilitar el almacenamiento y acceso a la información de forma segura, rápida y eficiente, tomando en cuenta la infraestructura tecnológica de la institución.
This investigation takes place at the public institution of the Fire Department of Otavalo Canton (CBCO), responsible for providing different services to the urban and rural population of the canton otavalo, province of Imbabura. The research consists of the study and systematization of processes for the management of inspection and collection for the issuance of operating permits for commercial premises, light, heavy transport vehicles and occasional events. hence the need to implement a system for the automation of processes and offer a better quality of service to the otavalane citizens. The objective of the research is to develop a web system that allows to manage and control such processes, facilitate secure, fast and efficient storage and access to information, taking into account the technological infrastructure of the institution. As for the research carried out has a mixed approach, with descriptive and applied typology, where interviews and surveys were conducted with the people responsible for the areas involved, in order to know the requirements and processes that were intended to systematize by the technological solution.
