Abstract
La presente ponencia tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre la importancia del
proceso de vinculación con la sociedad en el Ecuador, a través, de la observación y
reflexión del trabajo realizado por docentes y estudiantes de la Carrera Contabilidad
y Auditoría de la Universidad Metropolitana en dos Parroquias de la Provincia
Pichincha. En la investigación se muestran los resultados obtenidos a partir de la
ejecución del proyecto de vinculación para lo cual fue necesario el uso de los
métodos análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción, histórico- lógico y estadísticosmatemáticos
y fuentes como: entrevistas, encuestas, observaciones. Se realizó un
análisis comparativo mediante una prueba estadística que permitió constatar una
mejora de la situación en la población meta después de la intervención, lo que
contribuyó a la evaluación de los impactos. De esta forma se determinaron las
conclusiones fundamentales y se demostró la necesidad de este proceso así como
el compromiso y la responsabilidad social universitaria en el contexto ecuatoriano.
The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the importance of the process of bonding with society in Ecuador, through the observation and reflection of the work done by teachers and students of the Accounting and Audit Department of the Metropolitan University in two Parishes belonging to the Pichincha Province.The research shows the results obtained from the execution of the linking project, for which it was necessary to use the analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical and statistical-mathematical methods and sources such as: interviews, surveys, observations. A comparative analysis was carried out using a statistical test that showed an improvement in the situation in the target population after the intervention, which contributed to the evaluation of the impacts. In this way, the fundamental conclusions were determined and the need for this process was demonstrated, as well as the commitment and the university social responsibility in the Ecuadorian context.
