Abstract
En este artículo se presenta una visión centrada en el comportamiento del líder religioso y su influencia en la actuación de los feligreses de las parroquias urbanas del cantón Ambato, con el fin de encontrar las causas y consecuencias analizándose aspectos como: el mal ejemplo en la coherencia de vida, el poder, la fama, el dinero, entre otros\; los mismos que han sido cuestionados por la sociedad, y sus efectos son notorios en la actuación de sus feligreses, entre ellos se destacan: abandono de la fe, cambio de religión, quemeimportismo, desinterés y pérdida de valores religiosos. Por ello se busca aportar elementos esenciales como: la aceptación considerable del líder religioso por parte del feligrés, pese a la incoherencia de vida y la necesidad de crear una nueva cultura religiosa, aspectos que la persona humana toma en cuenta para manifestar su fe.
This article shows a point of view focused on the behavior of the religious leaders and its influence on parishioners’ behavior of urban parishes of Ambato in order to find the causes and consequences, and it is going to be analyzed some aspect such as: the lack of coherence in their life, the power, fame, money among others. Those aspects have been questioned by society, and its effects are noticeable in the parishioners´ behavior, and it can be evidenced in abandonment of the faith, some others go to other churches, indifference, and loss of religious values. Because of all those aspects that have been mentioned before, the project aim is to contribute essential elements such as: the acceptance of the religious leaders by the parishioners, in spite of the lack of coherence in their life and the necessity to create a new religious culture, aspects that people consider to express their faith.
