Abstract
El trabajo de titulación se desarrolla en la parroquia rural San Pablo del Lago del cantón Otavalo en la provincia de Imbabura, la investigación se enfoca en la accesibilidad universal en el espacio público mediante el análisis de normativa vigente, así como las bases teóricas y técnicas de fuentes bibliográficas. Con la estructuración de bases teóricas y técnicas se analiza el estado de la accesibilidad en el espacio público mediante la valoración del cumplimiento de normas técnicas en aceras, calles, parques y plazas; se procede a establecer la problemática en la infraestructura y se plantean estrategias que mejoren y revitalicen el espacio público. Se plantean tres escalas de propuestas; la planificación urbana establece principios y estrategias a nivel general para la reestructuración del sector y de su consolidación, el diseño urbano presenta el esquema para un circuito de conexión que permite la movilización de personas con discapacidad y adultos mayores, el diseño arquitectónico muestra el anteproyecto de un centro de desarrollo inclusivo que diversifica actividades fomentando el esparcimiento e inclusión de grupos vulnerables con el resto de la sociedad.
The degree work is carried out in the rural parish San Pablo del Lago of Otavalo in the province of Imbabura, the research focuses on universal accessibility in the public space through the analysis of current regulations, as well as the theoretical and technical bases of Bibliographical sources. With the structuring of theoretical and technical bases, the state of accessibility in public space is analyzed by assessing compliance with technical standards on sidewalks, streets, parks and squares. the problem is established in the infrastructure and strategies are proposed that improve and revitalize the public space. Three scales of proposals are proposed; urban planning establishes principles and strategies at a general level for the restructuring of the sector and its consolidation, the urban design presents the scheme for a connection circuit that allows the mobilization of people with disabilities and older adults. The architectural design shows the preliminary draft of an inclusive development center that diversifies activities promoting the recreation and inclusion of vulnerable groups with the rest of society.
