Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación se basa en el diseño arquitectónico del centro de rehabilitación física municipal en el barrio Auxilios Mutuos. La investigación y la propuesta se realiza en vista de que existe un déficit en la cobertura de servicios de rehabilitación física en la parroquia El Sagrario y el cantón Ibarra, por lo que es necesario proponer un equipamiento de tipología de salud que satisfaga estas necesidades. El sector en el cual se propone el equipamiento arquitectónico necesita una intervención con el fin de mejorar la imagen urbana, reducir la delincuencia, generar un sentido de pertenencia por parte de los moradores del sector y dinamizar la economía de la zona circundante al parque Auxilios Mutuos. La metodología aborda un enfoque mixto con el fin de obtener información estadística de la zona de emplazamiento y también considerar aspectos como la percepción del espacio público, para de esta manera realizar una propuesta arquitectónica y un análisis urbano que solvente las necesidades encontradas. En conclusión, este centro de rehabilitación física responde a las necesidades de la población Ibarreña, aportando técnicamente a las personas con discapacidad.
This thesis project is based on the architectural design of the municipal physical rehabilitation center in the Auxilios Mutuos neighborhood. The research and proposal are conducted in light of the existing deficit in physical rehabilitation services coverage in El Sagrario parish and Ibarra canton, making it necessary to propose a healthcare facility that meets these needs. The sector where the architectural facility is proposed requires intervention to improve the urban image, reduce crime, generate a sense of belonging among residents, and stimulate the economy in the area surrounding Auxilios Mutuos park. The methodology employs a mixed approach to obtain statistical information about the location and also considers aspects such as public space perception, thereby facilitating an architectural proposal and urban analysis that address the identified needs. In conclusion, this physical rehabilitation center meets the needs of the Ibarra population, providing technical support to people with disabilities.
