Abstract
El trabajo presenta evidencia sobre la investigación realizada en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial Rural de Imbaya, ubicado en Imbaya, cantón Antonio Ante. El objetivo fue crear un plan de mejora del clima laboral. Para alcanzar este objetivo se realizó un diagnóstico, en donde se aplicó una encuesta tipo Likert a los trabajadores tomando como referencia la “Norma Técnica para Medición de Clima Laboral y Cultura Organizacional del Servicio Público”; además, se llevó a cabo una entrevista a dos autoridades de la institución. A través de estos instrumentos se analizaron tres componentes: Liderazgo, Compromiso y Entorno de Trabajo, en los cuales se identificaron factores “fuertes” y “débiles” dentro del GAD Parroquial Imbaya, siendo estos últimos los que requieren de mayor intervención y que se priorizaron en el plan de mejora.
