Abstract
Con el avance en las ciencias de la computación y el desarrollo de software, es impensable en la actualidad trabajar sin la asistencia de herramientas informáticas que simplifiquen y agilicen nuestras tareas laborales. En el campo de la odontología, los días en los que se utilizaba papel y lápiz para escribir recetas ya han quedado en el pasado como metodología de proceso, todo esto se ha logrado gracias a la adaptación de herramientas de software diseñadas específicamente para satisfacer las necesidades de los profesionales médicos, lo que ha mejorado considerablemente la ejecución de sus actividades. La gestión eficiente de las citas médicas y la gestión de las historias clínicas son aspectos críticos en la atención odontológica moderna. En este contexto, el presente trabajo aborda la creación de un 'Sistema de Citas Médicas e Historias Clínicas' desarrollado para el Centro Odontológico OdontoEstetic. La problemática radica en la ausencia de un sistema integrado que permita la reserva de citas, el seguimiento de historias clínicas electrónicas y una comunicación fluida entre pacientes y odontólogos, las clínicas odontológicas aún dependen en gran medida de métodos tradicionales, como agendas de papel y llamadas telefónicas, lo que puede llevar a errores en la programación de citas, retrasos en la atención y pérdida de información importante del paciente. Ante esta situación, surge la necesidad de desarrollar una aplicación de citas médicas e historias clínicas diseñada específicamente para clínicas odontológicas, este proyecto tiene como objetivo principal proporcionar una solución tecnológica integral que optimice la gestión de citas, mejore la experiencia del paciente y facilite el trabajo de los profesionales de la salud dental, la aplicación permitirá a los pacientes reservar citas en el lugar, de manera conveniente y a los médicos acceder a historiales clínicos desde cualquier lugar y momento. Obteniendo un resultado en la actualidad de acceso sencillo para la agenda e historial clínico de los pacientes, mejorando así la organización y atención personalizada, lo que ha generado una mayor satisfacción del cliente y laboral.
With the advancement in computer science and software development, it is currently unthinkable to work without the assistance of computer tools that simplify and speed up our work tasks. In the field of dentistry, the days of using paper and pencil to write prescriptions are long gone as a process methodology, all of this has been achieved thanks to the adaptation of software tools specifically designed to meet the needs of medical professionals, which has considerably improved the execution of their activities. Efficient management of medical appointments and management of medical records are critical aspects of modern dental care. In this context, the present work addresses the creation of a Medical Appointments and Clinical Records System developed for the OdontoEstetic Dental Center. The problem lies in the absence of an integrated system that allows appointment booking, monitoring of electronic medical records and fluid communication between patients and dentists. Dental clinics still rely heavily on traditional methods, such as paper agendas and calls. telephone calls, which can lead to appointment scheduling errors, delays in care, and loss of important patient information. Given this situation, the need arises to develop an application for medical appointments and medical records designed specifically for dental clinics. This project's main objective is to provide a comprehensive technological solution that optimizes appointment management, improves the patient experience and makes work easier. For dental health professionals, the app will allow patients to conveniently book appointments on-site and doctors to access medical records from anywhere, anytime. Currently obtaining a result of easy access to the patients' agenda and clinical history, thus improving organization and personalized attention, which has generated greater customer and job satisfaction.
