Capacitación docente en integración de estrategias innovadoras para el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje a los estudiantes de básica superior de la Unidad Educativa Eloy Alfaro de Urcuquí(PUCE - Ibarra, 2025) Guzmán Flores, Mónica Paulina; Dávila Oña, Pablo AlejandroThis research on teacher training in the integration of innovative strategies for the teachinglearning process to students of higher basic education of the Unidad Educativa Eloy Alfaro of Urcuquí, is based on the importance and necessity of adopting modern educational methodologies to face the new challenges and deep sequels left by the COVID-19 crisis, inside and outside the classroom. For this reason, this study proposes to provide the necessary tools so that educators, through a theoretical and practical training program, acquire competencies and skills in new didactic, dynamic and creative strategies that allow them to strengthen their professional teaching performance and their direct relationship with students, through significant processes that mainly influence their integral development and academic performance. The applied research methodology is based on a mixed approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, with a descriptive non-experimental type. The population was determined under the non-probabilistic criterion, that is without sampling formula. And for data collection, the following techniques were applied: survey, observation and interview with the respective validated instruments. The results obtained show that for the teachers of the Unidad Educativa Eloy Alfaro, it is very useful to have knowledge about innovative teaching strategies considering that, being an institution governed by the Ministry of Education, they currently apply methodologies based on Universal Design of Learning and ERCA (Experience, Reflection, Conceptualization and Application) from the constructivist model; however, an interesting fact is that the practice of traditional methods combined with other active ones was still observed, causing disinterest and demotivation in the students. That is, teachers have knowledge of innovative strategies, but do not know how to apply them efficiently and effectively creating friendly and interactive learning environments where the learner becomes the protagonist and builder of his knowledge.
