Abstract
El presente proyecto de titulación comprende el diseño de una ruta turística que recorre las comunidades ubicadas en el Valle del Chota, pertenecientes al catón Ibarra, la misma que está enfocada principalmente en las características y manifestaciones culturales de la localidad, con la finalidad de dar a conocer los diferentes atractivos de la zona y activar el desarrollo turístico del sector.
En el primer capítulo se analiza los temas generales del turismo y la ruta turística tales como el concepto, importancia y tipología, además se investigó la relación entre turismo y cultura, las fases para diseñar una ruta turística. Así mismo se estudiaron las manifestaciones culturales y los atractivos del Valle del Chota. Finalmente se interpretó información sobre el paquete turístico haciendo énfasis en el concepto, la importancia y los elementos del mismo. En el siguiente capítulo se detalla la investigación diagnostica que responde a un análisis técnico de las comunidades incluidas en la ruta, y la potencial demanda en la provincia de Imbabura, este estudio se lo realizo basado en técnicas metodológicas como la encuesta, la entrevista y la observación. Y por último se realizó un análisis FODA estableciendo diferentes estrategias.
En el tercer capítulo se detalla información de los diferentes atractivos y recursos, los servicios turísticos y la accesibilidad mediante un inventario, dando como resultado el diseño y estructuración de la ruta, el mapa, las estrategias de promoción y finalmente la propuesta de operación de la misma, a través de cinco paquetes turísticos. En el siguiente capítulo se especifica los impactos que genera la ejecución del proyecto, los mismos que han sido determinados metodológicamente en base a un criterio técnico, determinando el nivel positivo y negativo de cada uno. Finalmente se desarrolló las conclusiones, recomendaciones.
Esta propuesta trata de dar a conocer a través de la actividad turística, el potencial cultural del pueblo afrodescendiente y los diferentes atractivos o recursos que pertenecen a las comunidades del valle del Chota en Ibarra.
The present titling project includes the design of a tourist route that runs through the communities located in the Chota Valley, belonging to the Ibarra capon, the same one that is focused mainly on the characteristics and cultural manifestations of the locality, in order to give know the different attractions of the area and activate the tourism development of the sector. In the first chapter the general topics of tourism and the tourist route are analyzed, such as the concept, importance and typology, as well as the relationship between tourism and culture, the phases to design a tourist route. Likewise, the cultural manifestations and the attractions of the Chota Valley were studied. Finally, information about the tourism package was interpreted, emphasizing the concept, importance and elements of it. The following chapter details the diagnostic investigation that responds to a technical analysis of the communities included in the route, and the potential demand in the province of Imbabura, this study was conducted based on methodological techniques such as the survey, the interview and the observation. And finally, a FODA analysis was carried out, establishing different strategies. The third chapter details information on the different attractions and resources, tourist services and accessibility through an inventory, resulting in the design and structuring of the route, the map, promotion strategies and finally the operation proposal of the same, through five tour packages. The following chapter specifies the impacts generated by the execution of the project, which have been determined methodologically based on a technical criterion, determining the positive and negative level of each one. Finally, the conclusions, recommendations were developed. This proposal tries to make known through the tourist activity, the cultural potential of the people of African descent and the different attractions or resources that belong to the communities of the Chota valley in Ibarra.
