Propuesta para la creación de un“Jardín APJ-Turístico” en el Cantón Cotacachi

Abstract
La iniciativa de diseño del “Jardín api-turístico” en el cantón Cotacachi pretende vincular al turismo con la apicultura, así, el turista experimentará de cerca la diversidad biológica apícola y su trascendencia en el medio ambiente. Para poner en funcionamiento esta propuesta es necesario aplicar una investigación bibliográfica básica sobre el tema principal de la propuesta, que es la apicultura, de eso se desprende la importancia que tienen las abejas en nuestro ecosistema y los productos que ofrece la colmena que será el valor agregado en la oferta de la propuesta, Asimismo es importante realizar una búsqueda del turismo como un impulsor del desarrollo económico y social, de la misma forma llegar al api-turismo como una tendencia de turismo activo, por consiguiente la metodología y elementos de interpretación que faciliten entender, conocer, clasificar y comunicar información sobre la apicultura y el ecoturismo en el mencionado cantón. En tal virtud, el objetivo de la propuesta es brindar una experiencia de desarrollo de turismo alternativo, se buscó contestar preguntas que resultaron al plantear la propuesta: ¿Tenemos la posibilidad de salvar las abejas y su flora nativa? ¿Cómo concientizar por medio de la interpretación? ¿Ecoturismo y apicultura socios estratégicos? Por lo tanto, para dar respuesta a las interrogantes planteadas se ejecutó una investigación cualitativa, método que permitió recoger y evaluar datos clave, por medio de encuestas, entrevistas y fichas de observación, para comprender la realidad del turismo apícola. Por consiguiente y a través de diversas herramientas interpretativas que contribuyan a generar conciencia ambiental, la propuesta se enfoca en proporcionar al turista una experiencia natural, en la que disfrute de la interacción entre las personas y la diversidad de la fauna apícola, que marque su visita y lo lleve a concientizar sobre el cuidado y la conservación ambiental.
The design initiative of the Jardín Api-turístico in the Cotacachi canton aims to link tourism with beekeeping, thus, the tourist will experience closely the beekeeping biological diversity and its importance in the environment. To put this proposal into operation, it is necessary to apply a basic bibliographical research on the main theme of the proposal, which is beekeeping, from which it follows the importance of bees in our ecosystem and the products offered by the hive that will be the value added in the offer of the proposal, it is also important to search for tourism as a driver of economic and social development, in the same way to reach beekeeping tourism as a trend of active tourism, therefore the methodology and elements of interpretation that facilitate understanding, knowing, classifying and communicating information about beekeeping and ecotourism in the aforementioned canton. In this virtue, the objective of the proposal is to provide an experience of alternative tourism development, it was sought to answer questions that resulted when proposing the proposal: Do we have the possibility of saving the bees and their native flora? How to raise awareness through interpretation? Ecotourism and beekeeping strategic partners? Therefore, to answer the questions raised, qualitative research was carried out, a method that allowed collecting and evaluating key data, through surveys, interviews and observation sheets, to understand the reality of beekeeping tourism. Therefore, and through various interpretive tools that contribute to generating environmental awareness, the proposal focuses on providing tourists with a natural experience, in which they enjoy the interaction between people and the diversity of bee fauna, which marks their visit and leads him to raise awareness about environmental care and conservation.
