Abstract
The full macrocyclic autoecious life cycle o five spore stages was confirmed for Edythea quitensis on Berberis hallii in the highlands of Ecuador. Te spermogonial and aecialstages had not previously been recorded. Spore descriptions and DNA sequence analysis areincluded.
