Abstract
Los procesos que se realizan dentro de un restaurante, como: tomar pedidos, realizar comandas, la
facturación como tal, demandan de un sin número de recursos, entre los principales: papelería y
tiempo prolongado de respuesta, dando lugar a varios errores en su ejecución, de allí la importancia
de la automatización de los mismos.
Dentro de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador sede Ibarra, en específico en la carrera
de Ciencias Turísticas y hoteleras, el restaurante del laboratorio de aprendizaje vivencial 180°, se
ha visto en la necesidad de ayudarse de una aplicación web – móvil para la gestión de comandas
que tiene como objetivo identificar cada uno de los procesos que existen al momento que un cliente
realiza un pedido, para esto, se ha identificado los requerimientos de los diferentes usuarios
participantes y posteriormente desarrollar la aplicación que será la que solución a esta
problemática.
Esta aplicación permite al cliente navegar a través de un menú digital que le permita seleccionar
un platillo y le dará la oportunidad de visualizar el progreso de elaboración de su pedido. Al mismo
tiempo a las personas que trabajan tanto en cocina como en caja les brinda un buen sistema de
organización de las comandas traduciéndose así en un beneficio de recursos, tiempo y economía.

Hence the importance of automating them. Within the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador Ibarra campus, specifically in the Tourism and Hotel Sciences career, the restaurant 180° experiential learning laboratory, has seen the need for the help of a web-mobile application for the management of commands that aims to identify each of the processes that exist at the time a customer places an order, for this, the requirements of the different participating users have been identified and later develop the application that will be the solution to this problem. This application allows the customer to navigate through a digital menu that allows them to select a dish and will give them the opportunity to view the progress of their order. At the same time, it provides the people who work both in the kitchen and in the cash register with a good order organization system, thus translating into a benefit of resources, time and economy.
