Abstract
En los últimos tiempos, somos testigos de una transformación digital en todos los ámbitos de la vida, incluido el entorno laboral. La digitalización ha traído consigo una serie de herramientas muy útiles que han revolucionado la forma en que se trabaja y gestiona la información. En un entorno que cada vez está más digitalizado, la gestión de documentos se convierte en un rol importante para el éxito organizacional. Por eso este proyecto se enfoca en abordar los desafíos de la gestión documental en Remon's, una pequeña y mediana empresa especializada en integración tecnológica ubicada en la ciudad de Mira, provincia del Carchi. En la actualidad, Remon's se enfrenta al desafío de gestionar documentos de manera manual, una práctica que, si bien ha sido útil en el pasado, ahora se presenta como un obstáculo en el entorno empresarial. Teniendo en cuenta este inconveniente, el objetivo principal de este proyecto es desarrollar una aplicación web, específicamente un sistema de gestión documental que priorice los procesos internos de Remon's, reduzca el papeleo innecesario, mejore el espacio físico, ordene la documentación y facilite el acceso a la información, además con el objetivo de prevalecer los datos de sus clientes. Este proyecto se enmarca dentro de una investigación aplicada, puesto que su enfoque principal radica en la generación de soluciones prácticas y altamente funcionales destinadas a mejorar significativamente la administración de documentos. En el proceso de la investigación para el sistema de gestión documental, se utilizó la entrevista como técnica de recolección de información juntamente con la observación directa para la identificación de requerimientos del sistema. Estas herramientas ayudo a entender bien cómo funcionan las cosas y qué se necesita. El desarrollo del sistema ayudo significativamente en los procesos internos de Remon’s, mejorando su funcionalidad de operatividad y dando fácil acceso a la información. En conclusión, la implementación de este sistema fue necesario para mejorar la organización y almacenamiento de su información, conjuntamente con la competitividad y sostenibilidad a largo plazo de Remon's en un entorno empresarial. Además, resaltó los beneficios de la digitalización en términos de eficiencia y protección de datos de los clientes.
In recent times, we have witnessed a digital transformation in all aspects of life, including the workplace. Digitization has brought along a series of very useful tools that have revolutionized the way we work and manage information. In an increasingly digital environment, document management becomes an important role for organizational success. That's why this project focuses on addressing the challenges of document management at Remon's, a small to medium-sized enterprise specializing in technological integration located in the city of Mira, province of Carchi. Currently, Remon's faces the challenge of managing documents manually, a practice that, while useful in the past, now presents itself as an obstacle in the business environment. Taking this inconvenience into account, the main objective of this project is to develop a web application, specifically a document management system, that prioritizes Remon's internal processes, reduces unnecessary paperwork, improves physical space, organizes documentation, and facilitates access to information, with the aim of safeguarding customer data. This project falls within applied research, as its main focus lies in generating practical and highly functional solutions aimed at significantly improving document administration. In the research process for the document management system, interviews were used as an information collection technique along with direct observation to identify system requirements. These tools helped understand how things work and what is needed. The development of the system significantly aided Remon's internal processes, improving its operational functionality and providing easy access to information. In conclusion, the implementation of this system was necessary to improve the organization and storage of its information, along with the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of Remon's in a business environment. Furthermore, it highlighted the benefits of digitization in terms of efficiency and customer data protection.
