Abstract
La presente investigación a la cual se ha denominado DISEÑO DE UN REFUGIO
TEMPORAL PARA DESASTRES NATURALES EN ECUADOR se la realizó con el mayor
empeño para poder resolver la falta de un producto que brinde resguardo a la hora de sufrir una
catástrofe natural, que sea un elemento de socorro para momentos difíciles que pasan las
personas que han perdido todo en ese momento y tiene que ser evacuados inminentemente a un
espacio seguro. Para poder dar cumplimiento al desarrollo de la investigación se realizó una
serie de pasos como la realización de encuestas a entidades gubernamentales (ECU 911, Ilustre
Municipio de Ibarra, Gobierno Provincial, Secretaria Nacional de Riesgos) dedicadas a la ayuda
inmediata para casos de desgracias naturales. Como punto de partida se establece realizar la
intervención de campo a sitios afectados por eventos naturales, los datos de esta recopilación de
información ayudan a un planteamiento efectivo de diseño.
Rescatando aspectos importantes de la vista en campo a sitios anteriormente afectados por
eventos naturales se utilizó la metodología de (observación). Se estableció, analizó referentes
idóneos: Casa Soe Ker Tie, proyecto ubicado en la provincia de Tak (Tailandia) y The Pallet
House, proyecto del grupo creativo I-Beam Design, que han sido un éxito en diferentes partes
del mundo, los cuales permiten estructurar la parte funcional, áreas, estética y componentes que
debe tener el refugio, de esta manera configurar un elemento adecuado, óptimo y eficaz para las
características que tiene el país. Establecidas las características, función y forma del Refugio
Temporal se realiza una serie de bocetos los cuales estarán sometidos a una ponderación
dependiendo de criterios tales como: forma, función, materiales, estética, transportabilidad.
The present investigation, which has been called DESIGN OF A TEMPORARY REFUGE FOR NATURAL DISASTERS IN ECUADOR, was carried out with the utmost effort to resolve the lack of a product that provides shelter at the time of suffering a natural catastrophe. A relief element for difficult moments that pass the people who have lost everything at that moment and have to be evacuated imminently to a safe space. In order to comply with the development of the research, a series of steps were carried out such as conducting surveys to government entities (ECU 911, Illustrious Municipality of Ibarra, Provincial Government, National Secretary of Risks) dedicated to immediate help in cases of natural disasters. As a starting point it is established to perform the field intervention to sites affected by natural events, the data of this collection of information help an effective design approach. Rescuing important aspects of the field view to sites previously affected by natural events, the (observation) methodology was used. It was established, analyzed suitable referents: Casa Soe Ker Tie, a project located in the province of Tak (Thailand) and The Pallet House, project of the creative group I-Beam Design, which have been a success in different parts of the world, which they allow to structure the functional part, areas, aesthetics and components that the refuge must have, in this way to configure an adequate, optimal and effective element for the characteristics that the country has. Established the characteristics, function and form of the Temporary Refuge a series of sketches is made which will be subject to a weighting depending on criteria such as: form, function, materials, aesthetics, transportability.
