Abstract
Esta investigación se ha desarrollado basándonos en la línea de investigación Ingeniería de Software, Innovación y Emprendimiento en TICS de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra, esto con la finalidad de desarrollar un software web utilizando el framework CodeIgniter con lenguaje de programación PHP para el Centro de Capacitación Internacional y Consultoría Educativa “Ibarra” con el fin de mejorar su proceso de matriculación online, gestión de participantes y cursos mejorando el servicio ofrecido y dando una mejor atención a cada uno de los participantes, así toda esta información estará disponible de manera eficiente al momento de solicitar algún dato importante en bien del Centro CICEI. En vista de que posiblemente algunos participantes deseen inscribirse a varios cursos, el sistema cuenta con la facilidad de que una vez registrado por primera vez en el sistema el participante ya no tenga que volver a llenar todos sus datos, sino únicamente con su cédula va a poder validar su información e inscribirse de manera rápida.
This research has been developed based on the research line Software Engineering, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in ICT of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Ibarra, this in order to develop a web software using the CodeIgniter framework with PHP programming language for the Center for International Training and Educational Consulting Ibarra in order to improve its online enrollment process, management of participants and courses improving the service offered and giving a better attention to each of the participants, so all this information will be available in an efficient way at the time of requesting any important information for the CICEI Center. In view of the fact that some participants may wish to register for several courses, the system has the facility that once registered for the first time in the system, the participant no longer has to fill out all their data again, but only with their ID card they will be able to validate their information and register quickly.
