Abstract
La educación y la pedagogía basada en valores constituye la pieza fundamental del proceso de construcción de una auténtica cultura cívico-ciudadana. Así también, su naturaleza alega a un modelo formativo emergente en las sociedades democráticas contemporáneas. Desde esta perspectiva, el presente estudio recoge el accionar humanista de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra y lo analiza desde una serie de relaciones metódicas y axiomáticas, las mismas que responden a la configuración epistémica de la educomunicación, sobre la base del desarrollo e integración social y productiva del norte del país (Ecuador).
The education and the pedagogy based on values constitutes the fundamental piece of the process of construction of an authentic civic-citizen culture. Likewise, its nature alleges an emerging formative model in contemporary democratic societies. From this perspective, this study gathers the humanistic actions of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador Ibarra headquarters and analyzes it from a series of methodical and axiomatic relations, the same ones that respond to the epistemic configuration of educommunication, based on the development and social and productive integration of the north of the country (Ecuador).
