The project Design of an Agricultural Cultural Center and Renovation of Public Spaces in the Huertos Familiares Neighborhood, proposes within the present titling work, to transform, rescue and promote the social and cultural advancement of the neighborhood, preserving the agricultural identity of the sector of study, based on an architectural analysis that also links to the protection strip of the Tahuando river, proposing a reconversion of the space used by mining, located next to the only public spaces in the neighborhood that consist of the communal house and the courts, to an Agricultural Cultural Center that through cycle paths and green corridors links both spaces, making this an inclusive, social and cultural area of the sector. The place of study is located in the city of Ibarra, specifically in the Huertos Familiares Centro neighborhood, this sector is currently undergoing an accelerated urban expansion due to the creation of the ring road, which was verified through cartography and mapping within this investigation, as well as evidence of the transformation that this neighborhood has undergone in the last years, going from being an agricultural sector to a residential and commercial sector, according to the testimony of the inhabitants of the sector, who mention their discomfort with the deterioration and lack of public spaces in the place. Given this, the architectural proposal raised in this thesis is based on creating an Agricultural Cultural Center, which has areas that integrate various cultural, educational and recreational activities, using the spiral shape generated in the concept of Design in reference to Loma del Churo, which was currently destroyed by the mines that were located in the Huertos familiares neighborhood, including in the proposed proposal, regenerating the public spaces attached to the mines and taking advantage of the existing natural environment.
