Abstract
Esta tesis aborda el problema del trastorno del lenguaje oral en niños de 3 a 5 años, centrándose en el desarrollo y validación de materiales didácticos gráficos como herramientas de apoyo en terapias del Centro de Neuropsicología-LAPSI. Inicialmente, se investigaron las causas y efectos del trastorno del lenguaje y el papel del diseño gráfico en su tratamiento, destacando la necesidad de recursos didácticos innovadores. A través de la observación de sesiones terapéuticas en el Centro LAPSI, se evaluaron las habilidades lingüísticas de los niños, identificando sus necesidades específicas. Este análisis permitió diseñar materiales gráficos interactivos y adaptados, como cartas dinámicas, para mejorar su comprensión y expresión del lenguaje. La validación de estos materiales se realizó con expertos y el público objetivo, destacando fortalezas y áreas de mejora. Los resultados indican que los materiales gráficos diseñados aumentaron la atención y participación de los niños, mostrando una mejora en sus habilidades lingüísticas. Se concluye que el diseño gráfico puede ser una herramienta efectiva en terapias de lenguaje, recomendándose la ampliación de este enfoque para abarcar otras edades y tipos de trastornos del habla.
This thesis addresses the issue of oral language disorders in children aged 3 to 5, focusing on the development and validation of graphic didactic materials as support tools in therapies at the LAPSI Neuropsychology Center. Initially, the causes and effects of language disorders were investigated, along with the role of graphic design in their treatment, highlighting the need for innovative didactic resources. Through observation of therapy sessions at the LAPSI Center, the linguistic abilities of the children were assessed, identifying their specific needs. This analysis facilitated the design of interactive and adapted graphic materials, such as dynamic cards, to enhance their language comprehension and expression. These materials were validated with experts and the target audience, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. The results indicate that the designed graphic materials increased the children's attention and participation, showing an improvement in their linguistic abilities. It is concluded that graphic design can be an effective tool in language therapies, with a recommendation to expand this approach to cover other ages and types of speech disorders.
