Abstract
The Commercial Agreement between Ecuador and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), is very recent and because of this there is the importance of knowing the benefits that the agreement will provide to the products that the country exports, especially to Tropical fruit juice exports. Based on what has been explained above, the present study analyzes the benefits that will come to obtain the companies that produce and export tropical fruit juices in the Quito city at the moment when the Commercial Agreement with the EFTA enters into force, and it is also analyzed Tropical fruit juice exports that have been made in years before the signing of the trade agreement. The methodology applied in the research project in a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, where data have been found to analyze Ecuador's exports to EFTA and the benefits that will be obtained with the signing of the agreement. In the same way with the continuation of the study, different research methods have been used, which are: analytical, inductive and synthetic, through which it has been possible to synthesize and better understand the information obtained in the development of the research topic. In reference to the results obtained, it could be said that the fruit juice sector has not exported this product to the countries that belong to the EFTA, so it would be necessary for companies producing tropical fruit juices to have more information on the commercial agreement that the country has signed and that in this way also manages to develop the fruit juice beverage industry by increasing the exports of its products.

El Acuerdo Comercial entre Ecuador y la Asociación Europea de Libre Comercio (EFTA por sus siglas en inglés), es muy reciente y debido a ello existe la importancia de conocer los beneficios que brindará el acuerdo a los productos que exporta el país en especial a las exportaciones de jugos de frutas tropicales. En base a lo explicado anteriormente, el presente estudio analiza los beneficios que llegarán a obtener las empresas productoras y exportadoras de jugos de frutas tropicales en el cantón Quito en el momento en que entre en vigencia el Acuerdo Comercial con la EFTA, y también se analiza las exportaciones de jugos de frutas tropicales que se han realizado en años anteriores a la firma del acuerdo comercial. La metodología aplicada en el proyecto de investigación en una combinación de los métodos cualitativo y cuantitativo, en donde se han encontrado datos para analizar las exportaciones que realiza Ecuador a la EFTA y los beneficios que se obtendrán con la firma del acuerdo. De igual forma con la continuación del estudio se han empleado distintos métodos de investigación que son: analítico, inductivo y sintético mediante los cuales se ha logrado sintetizar y comprender de mejor manera la información obtenida en el desarrollo del tema de investigación. En referencia a los resultados obtenidos se podría decir que el sector de jugos de frutas no ha realizado exportaciones de este producto a los países que pertenecen a la EFTA, por lo que sería necesario que las empresas productoras de jugos de frutas tropicales tengan mayor información sobre el acuerdo comercial que ha firmado el país y que de esta manera también logre desarrollarse la industria de bebidas de jugos de frutas incrementando las exportaciones de sus productos.
