Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como propósito, realizar una propuesta Urbano, Arquitectónico y Paisajista en mejora y puesta en valor de la comuna Fakcha Llakta (Cascada de Peguche), un pueblo histórico - patrimonial de la ciudad de Otavalo, con una población aproximada de 350 habitantes. Siendo este un lugar de alta biodiversidad ya que se encuentra contenida por un bosque protector, misma que se encuentra catalogada como un sitio estratégico dentro de la propuesta de Geoparque Imbabura, sin duda alguna el sitio cuenta con un gran potencial turístico, gracias a sus varios atractivos naturales y artificiales, así como culturas ancestrales inmersas en los comuneros. Principalmente se trata de rescatar y rehabilitar sitios y elementos de trascendencia en el tiempo, mismas que en la actualidad se encuentran en olvido y son de poco o nulo conocimiento de los visitantes, dentro de los cuales prima la Casa Hacienda (Primer Obraje del norte del país) el cual consta como un bien patrimonial en el INPC, puesto que se encuentra actualmente sin uso y en constante deterioro, se ha determinado la importancia de rehabilitación y cambio de uso. El estudio parte del análisis de las características, cualidades y problemas de la comunidad, aplicando principalmente las técnicas de investigación tales como: observación de campo, entrevistas, relatos y bibliográficos. El proyecto se justifica básicamente en la necesidad de crear un desarrollo sostenible y sustentable de la comunidad, sin que esto implique un deterioro del entorno, diseñando espacios habitables, turísticos y amigables con el medio, logrando así mejorar aspectos de carácter social, cultural, turístico, económico y urbanístico, que actualmente se ven deteriorados o afectados.
The present work has like objective, to make an Urban, Architectural and Landscape proposal in improvement and putting in value of the commune Fakcha Llakta (Cascade of Peguche), a historical town - patrimonial of the city of Otavalo, with a population approximated of 350 inhabitants . Being this a place of high biodiversity that meets a protective forest, which is located within a strategic site within the proposed Geopark Imbabura, without doubt the site has a great tourist potential, thanks to its various natural and artificial attractions, as well as ancestral cultures immersed in the comuneros. Mainly it is about rescuing and rehabilitating the sites and elements of transcenden ce over time, which are currently forgotten and the son of a small knowledge of visi tors, inside the Hacienda House (First Property of the north of the country) which is a heritage asset in the INPC, which is currently in use and in constant decline, has the importance of rehabilitation and change of use. The study starts with an analysis of the characteristics, qualities and problems of the community, applying mainly the research techniques such as field observation, interviews, stories and bibliography. The project is basically justified in the need to create a sustainable and sustainable development of the community, without this implying the deterioration of the environment, designing living spaces, the user and friendly with the environment, thus improving the aspects of social character , cultural, tourist, economic and urban, which are currently deteriorated or affected.
