Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo elaborar un plan para la mejora del clima laboral de la Unidad Educativa Santa Juana de Chantal, Otavalo, Imbabura. La investigación es de alcance descriptivo, con un diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. Se enfoca en el clima laboral y se basa en datos cuantitativos para obtener resultados precisos. Busca conocer la percepción del clima laboral de los colaboradores de la Institución y, con los datos analizados, se construirá un plan de mejora. La muestra se compone de 24 colaboradores del área administrativa y 43 docentes, con un total de 4 hombres y 20 mujeres en el primer caso, y 12 hombres y 31 mujeres en el segundo caso. La investigación incluirá a todos los miembros de la Institución, sin ningún criterio de exclusión. Para la recolección de los datos de mejor manera se utilizó el programa Google forms, se aplicó la encuesta tomando en cuenta los objetivos y la naturaleza de la información que se desea recopilar. La interpretación de los datos se lo realizó con el método de medición escala de Likert. Los resultados de la encuesta sobre el clima laboral en la Unidad Educativa 'Santa Juana de Chantal' muestran una percepción positiva por parte de los docentes y personal administrativo varios aspectos importantes del clima laboral en la institución, tomando en cuenta las siguientes dimensiones autonomía, confianza, apoyo reconocimiento, equidad e innovación. Para comprobar los resultados emitidos mediante la encuesta se optó por realizar una entrevista al señor Rector de la Institución, lo cual se pudo evidenciar algunos problemas, acorde a la inseguridad laboral, salario bajo, no tener título de tercer nivel en educación, personal dócil e inestabilidad laboral y así determinar los problemas con profundidad.
The objective of this research is to develop a plan to improve the working environment in the Santa Juana de Chantal Educational Unit located in Otavalo, Imbabura province. This is a descriptive research, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. It focuses on the work environment and it is based on quantitative data to obtain accurate results. It seeks to know the perception of the work environment of the Institution's collaborators and, with the data analyzed, an improvement plan will be built. The sample is made up with 24 collaborators from the administrative area and 43 teachers, in total 4 men and 20 women in the first case, and 12 men and 31 women in the second case. The interpretation of the data was carried out with the Likert scale measurement method. The results of the survey about work environment in the Educational Unit Santa Juana de Chantal show a positive perception by teachers and administrative staff of several important aspects of the work environment in the institution, taking into account the following dimensions: autonomy, trust , support, recognition, equity and innovation. To verify the results issued through the survey, it was decided to conduct an interview with the Rector of the Institution, which could show some problems, according to job insecurity, low salary, not having a third level degree in education, docile staff and labor instability and thus determine the problems in depth.
