Análisis de la participación de mujeres en tráfico ilícito de sustancias sujetas a fiscalización en el cantón Ibarra año 2021-2022

Abstract
En las últimas décadas la participación de las mujeres en el delito de tráfico ilícito de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización ha aumentado exponencialmente, mismas que desempeñan diversos roles en el cometimiento de este ilícito, el presente trabajo de investigación abordó la problemática social y las motivaciones principales que generan dicha participación, en el cantón Ibarra en los años 2021 – 2022, la metodología aplicada en el presente trabajo de investigación fue enfocada en el ámbito socio jurídico, apoyada en la técnica de revisión documental de la base de datos de gestión procesal de la fiscalía como de tres sentencias emitidas por el tribunal de garantías penales de Imbabura, mismas que fueron cuidadosamente seleccionadas debido a su relevancia para la presente investigación, otro instrumento implementado fueron las entrevistas dirigidas a jueces y fiscales del cantón Ibarra, una vez analizada la participación de la mujer en este delito se pudo evidenciar que las penas impuestas por este ilícito resultan alejadas a la realidad social, económica o de género, concluyendo que la principal razón que motiva a las mujeres al cometimiento de este ilícito es la falta de oportunidades laborales, situación económica precaria y vulnerabilidad social.
In recent decades the participation of women in the crime of illicit trafficking of controlled substances has increased exponentially, they play various roles in the commission of this crime, this research work addressed the social problems and the main motivations that generate such participation, The methodology applied in this research work was focused on the socio-legal field, supported by the technique of documentary review of the database of procedural management of the prosecutor's office and three sentences issued by the criminal court of Imbabura, Once the participation of women in this crime was analyzed, it became evident that the penalties imposed for this crime are far from the social, economic or gender reality, concluding that the main reason that motivates women to commit this crime is the lack of job opportunities, precarious economic situation and social vulnerability.
