Abstract
Este estudio presenta un plan de negocios para establecer un Bar-restaurante dentro de las instalaciones del Hostal Nueva Colonia en la ciudad de Ibarra como respuesta a una alternativa de captar ingresos adicionales y satisfacer la necesidad detectada de alimentos y bebidas de sus huéspedes. Para ello, se abordaron cuatro contextos: el de mercado, para conocer el comportamiento de la oferta y la demanda; el técnico que permitió definir las necesidades en cuanto a infraestructura, y distribución de espacio disponible, obteniendo una capacidad de atención para 42 comensales; el administrativo en el cual se determinó la filosofía organizacional, necesidad de personal, así como también, sus funciones y responsabilidades; por último el financiero que reveló la inversión inicial necesaria de 65.415,77 USD; un punto de equilibrio que se alcanza a los USD 199779,17 en los cinco años; un VAN positivo de 29.063,73 USD a una tasa del 9,33% por un lapso de tiempo de cinco años, una tasa Interna de retorno de 23% y la relación costo beneficio de 1,19 dólares por cada dólar que se invierte. El análisis de sensibilidad demostró que el proyecto no es sensible a las variaciones de tasa de interés y contracción de las ventas del 2,22%. Hallazgos: El plan de negocio es viable.
This study shows a business plan to establish a Restaurant-Bar inside the Nueva Colonia Hostal in Ibarra city as an alternative answer to catch additional profits and satisfy detected needs of food and drinks of their hosts. For this, four contexts were addressed: Marketing to know the behavior of supply and demand, the technical study that allows defining needs of infrastructure and available spatial distribution, obtaining an attendance capacity of 46 diners. The administrative study determined the organizational philosophy, personnel needs, as well as responsibilities and duties. Lastly, the financial study revealed the an initial investment of 65.415,77 USD; a break point that is reached at USD 199.779,17 at five years; a positive VNA of 20.063,73 USD at a 9,33% interest rate for five years, a IRR of 33% and a cost-benefit relationship of 1,19 dollars for an investeded dollar. The sensitivity analysis showed that the project it is not sensitive to variations of interest rate or sales contraction of the 2,22%. Findings: The business plan is acceptable.
