Item Open Access Exportación de harina de quinua hacia Alemania de la asociación de productores de quinua del Carchi cantón Espejo, previa importación de maquinaria para su producción(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra, 2018-05) León Rosero, Danny Paul; Noboa Guevara, Luis EduardoThe present investigation was proposed as a general objective to design an export plan of quinoa flour to the German market for the Association of Producers of Quinua Carchi, canton Espejo, province of Carchi. The techniques used for the collection of surveys and interviews, while the instruments are based on 80 surveys and one interview. As main results, it was determined that the production level of the Association is 1000 quintals per month, enough to start an export process of quinoa flour. Additionally, the Association is strategically located in a place with an appropriate climate (between 6 and 13 degrees) and a height between 4723 meters above sea level, the characteristics that allow quinoa crops to be permanent and a volume of production that can guarantee the export to the German country. Regarding the characteristics of the consumer, with the study it was obtained that the profile of this country is oriented to: 1) quality, 2) products of "high added value Premium" 3) organic and organic products 4) products oriented to benefits in health and finally 4) take into consideration the price. After making the diagnosis of the financial, administrative and legal situation of the Asociación de Productores de Quinua del Carchi, it is concluded in the first term that it has the adequate infrastructure for the processing of quinoa in the amounts demanded for export, but he needs machinery. to improve the processing of quinoa flour. It is a model MPV 60-60 whose cost is estimated at USD $ 22,500 CIF of Peruvian origin, within the framework of the Agreement of the Binational Technical Committee for Trade, Investment and Tourism Facilitation that exists between Ecuador and this country. Finally, it was identified that the conditioning measures within the facilities of the Association (200 m2), a place for drying the quinoa flour and acquire the necessary supplies. Regarding the identified capacities, there are those that the Association does not have personnel prepared to carry out specific activities of production of quinoa flour, therefore, it has no experience or technical knowledge. With all the indicated, it is feasible to affirm that the proposal is viable taking into account the economic aspects of the production of the Association of 1435 dollars and what represents the monthly income of USD 29.632,75 giving the figures the viability of the project, in the part administrative has the adequate infrastructure for the processing of quinoa flour, human talent and legal account with all the regulations required for the export of organic products, in addition to having the BCS certification that provides an organic certificate of the product.
