La fundación BAI, es una entidad sin fines de lucro cuyas acciones se centran en el control y aseguramiento de los distintos animales que se encuentran en las calles del cantón Antonio Ante, que son causantes de una serie de problemas que afectan directamente a la colectividad Anteña. Frente a esta problemática se plantea una solución tecnológica que permita la automatización de las actividades de la fundación como medio y estrategia que le permita registrar, controlar e identificar a cada uno de los animales de calle. La investigación está estructurada mediante una serie de cinco capítulos los cuales detallan las actividades y procedimientos llevados a cabo en cada uno de estos que se detallan a continuación. El capítulo I, detalla la investigación documental asociada con el proyecto y detalla los conceptos y aspectos técnicos necesarios para el desarrollo del sistema informático de registro canino y felino en el cantón de Antonio Ante, provincia de Imbabura. El capítulo II, se detalla el proceso de diagnóstico y recopilación de la información sobre los procesos y aspectos que conllevan la gestión de registro canino y felino en el cantón de Antonio Ante, por parte de la fundación. El capítulo III, describe la ingeniería del producto de software con base a los requisitos y requerimientos acordes a procesos del modelo de gestión de la fundación. También contiene un apartado sobre la referencia y operatividad del sistema. Finalmente se plantean una serie de preguntas referentes a las conclusiones y recomendaciones que se determinan al término de la investigación.The research has the object of study the management of the activities that are carried out in the Animal Welfare Foundation of Imbura (BAI), through a computer system for canine and feline registration in the canton of Antonio Ante, Imbabura province.
