Se toma en consideración el geoparque Imbabura como patrimonio cultural del ecoturismo en un entorno natural con fragilidad. La temática abordada para el análisis y diagnóstico de las problemáticas de la zona de estudio son los conceptos relacionados con el Ecoturismo y espacio frágiles del entorno. Uno de los enfoques primordiales también presente es la participación colectiva de la comunidad, conservando la cultura y tradición del pueblo y sus componentes arquitectónicos del patrimonio tangible o intangible. La propuesta de intervención se realiza en tres escalas: Escala Macro, en la cual se reflejan los puntos de interconexión entre espacios naturales únicos y accesos de los senderos que son el atractivo turístico del lugar de estudio. Escala Meso, donde se interviene en el entorno inmediato del sector de la laguna de Mojanda, dando importancia al entorno natural con las actividades tanto del turista como la de los moradores del sector que realizan su actividad económica, en el cual se ve reflejado un déficit de infraestructura turística, dando así a la problemática que presenta con la falta de un equipamiento. Escala Micro, se propone una infraestructura de alojamiento (cabañas ecoturísticas) que solvente el impacto ambiental que se genera a causa de la quena del pajonal y de las necesidades de la comunidad, turistas nacionales y extranjeros que visitan la zona de la laguna de Mojanda Caricocha.The present titling work is developed in the natural environment of the Mojanda lagoon in the city of Otavalo and its protection strip, Imbabura geopark is taken into consideration as a cultural heritage of ecotourism, thus placing it in a natural environment with fragility. The theme addressed for the analysis and diagnosis of the problems of the study area are the concepts related to Ecotourism and Fragile Spaces in the environment. One of the main approaches also present is the collective participation of the community, preserving the culture and tradition of the town and its architectural components of the Heritage, which is held as a tangible or intangible identity, the intervention proposal is carried out on three scales, Macro Scale in which reflects the points of interconnection between unique natural spaces and access to the trails that is the tourist attraction of the place of study in which the places are identified as tourist attractions. Meso scale where the immediate environment of the Mojanda lagoon sector is intervened, giving importance to the natural environment with the activities of both the tourist and the residents of the sector who carry out their economic activity, in which a deficit of tourist infrastructure, thus giving rise to the problems presented by the sector in the absence of equipment.
