dc.description.abstractFor many years the Latin American university model was aimed at training technicians and professionals. These universities are now trying to develop a pertinent environment for scientific innovation that could contribute to the development of the region. Maybe, interdisciplinary projects are a key part of this environment, if we can agree on the meaning of interdisciplinarity and how to achieve it. This paper proposes a model to monitor interdisciplinarity.en_US
