| dc.description.abstract | El acceso a los servicios financieros es un tema que ha cobrado gran importancia en los últimos años en América Latina\; tanto gobiernos como instituciones financieras privadas, vienen planteando y desarrollando iniciativas que buscan impulsar el acceso de la población a tales servicios. La rápida evolución de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación ha producido enormes cambios en el ámbito social, económico y político, pues se encuentran integradas prácticamente en cada actividad de nuestra vida cotidiana\; por ello es necesario estar al tanto de las innovaciones que ofrece el sector financiero ecuatoriano. | dc.description.abstract | The Access to financial services is a topic that has become of great importance during the last years in Latin America, governments as well as private financial institutions have been proposing and developing initiatives which are looking forward to boosting the Access of population to such services. The fast evolution of information and communication technologies have produced huge changes in social, economic and political areas, for they are practically involved in each stage of our daily life; thus, it is necessary to be acquainted of the different innovations offered by the Ecuadorian financial system.
