| dc.description.abstract | The Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages Career has held the III International Congress with important speakers from national and foreign universities. Language learning, in our field with a preference for English, is an important element of professional development in an increasingly global and interactive world. Esmeraldas has the challenge of improving its educational quality and the teaching-learning processes of the English language. It needs good teachers who make language learning more attractive and motivating. The province, with an important tourist projection, needs bilingual professionals in all sectors to continue being an efficiently welcoming space. It is a challenge for PUCESE to improve the skills of language teachers to create opportunities for students and professionals in the province. The Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages Career, before the Applied Linguistics degree, has graduated professionals who are in other parts of the world doing master's degrees and doctorates. It is making an important contribution to improving the teaching of English with the bachelor's degree, the master's degree, and the congresses like this one, which puts PUCESE and Esmeraldas in the world, especially important when teaching has undergone a substantial change due to the Covid19 pandemic. We congratulate the efforts of the teachers of this career, the International Scientific Committee that has ensured the quality of the papers, and the participation of teachers from various universities in this congress. The thematic axes have addressed the importance of innovative methodologies and strategies, the use of technology and attention to diversity in the English class. This event has made a truly significant contribution to the development of the province of Esmeraldas. | en_US |
