| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto del “Complejo funerario para la ciudad de Ibarra” está proyectado dentro del cantón Ibarra al borde del anillo vial, es un equipamiento de gran simbolismo y con notable importancia ya que ayuda a solventar el déficit de espacio de inhumación existente en el cantón. Cumplirá con varias funciones siendo la principal albergar aproximadamente 19 000 restos humanos, cantidad proyectada a 50 años y que posee espacio para expansión. Luego de analizar el área de investigación, se identificaron varios inconvenientes, como problemas de movilidad, falta de espacios públicos de calidad y falta de equipamientos de este carácter. Con base en lo anterior, se proyectó un equipamiento que responda a todas las necesidades de los usuarios del cantón y de algunos poblados aledaños. El proyecto tiene como objetivo resaltar el proceso de la muerte y lo que implica, como la preparación de los muertos, las vigilias, los cultos y el entierro final o la reducción a cenizas de los cuerpos. Por otro lado, la introducción y expansión del espacio público brinda la oportunidad de que los usuarios interactúen en él sin ningún tipo de limitación. El complejo funerario no solo está pensado como un elemento arquitectónico sino también en el paisaje y la ciudad, se realiza un estudio multicriterio de normativa aplicable, PDOT, índices de natalidad y estadísticas de mortalidad, análisis de la situación actual para obtener criterios de intervención cabe destacar que todo esa programado en función del cumplimiento de todas las normativas nacionales y locales con el fin de desarrollar una oferta que satisfaga las necesidades de la población en donde también se añade criterios visuales, de diseño, paisajísticos y de accesibilidad, aprovechando el medio natural para su propio beneficio. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Funeral complex for the city of Ibarra” is projected within the canton of Ibarra at the edge of the ring road. It is a highly symbolic facility of great importance as it helps to solve the deficit of burial space existing in the canton. It will fulfill several functions, the main one being to house approximately 19,000 human remains, a number projected for 50 years and which has space for expansion.After analyzing the research area, several problems were identified, such as mobility problems, lack of quality public spaces, and lack of facilities of this nature. Based on the above, a facility was designed to meet all the needs of the users of the canton and some neighboring towns. The project aims to highlight the process of death and what it implies, such as the preparation of the dead, vigils, cults and the final burial or reduction of the bodies to ashes. On the other hand, the introduction and expansion of the public space provides the opportunity for users to interact in it without any limitations.The funeral complex is not only thought as an architectural element but also in the landscape and the city, a multi-criteria study of applicable regulations, PDOT, birth rates and mortality statistics, analysis of the current situation to obtain intervention criteria is performed. It should be noted that everything is programmed according to compliance with all national and local regulations in order to develop an offer that meets the needs of the population where visual, design, landscape and accessibility criteria are also added, taking advantage of the natural environment for its own benefit. | en_US |
