Abstract
El presente estudio se relaciona con la utilización de los signos distintivos, para la protección jurídica de los productos y servicios ofertados por las diversas MIPYMES en Ecuador. El problema es la falta de conocimiento que poseen las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas en Ecuador-MIPYMES, respecto de la protección de su fondo de comercio a través del uso de signos distintivos registrados, utilizando para ello el marco jurídico vigente\; el problema se estudió desde un enfoque doctrinario y normativo la Decisión Andina 486 y el Código Orgánico de la Economía Social de los Conocimientos, Creatividad e Innovación, dando como resultado la existencia de siete diversas opciones de signos distintivos, que el empresario podrían utilizar para proteger los productos y servicios generados por la MIPYME.
The present study is related to the use of distinctive signs for the legal protection of products and services offered by micro, small and medium enterprises (hereinafter MIPYMEs) in Ecuador.
